Founder & President

Ali Abidi is a student at Onalaska High School and the founder of SEHAT, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing health inequity in the United States. Inspired by his research and the development of his ApolloHealth app, Ali launched SEHAT to expand community involvement and raise awareness around healthcare access. He is passionate about leveraging technology to promote health equity and is committed to continuing this mission throughout high school and beyond.

Co-Director, Events and Workshops

Zach Hamman is a student at Onalaska High School in Wisconsin with a growing interest in environmental engineering. Raised in Blair, he’s seen how environmental issues like PFAS contamination and limited healthcare access impact rural and low-income communities. Zach hopes to work in watershed and fisheries management to help build healthier, more equitable communities.

Caroline Stanton is a dedicated student at Onalaska High school who is interested in entering pediatrics. She was drawn to SEHAT because she believes everyone deserves access to healthcare no matter their background. She has a passion for working with kids, volunteering around her community and helps run a childcare program through her church. Caroline is excited to have the opportunity to help spread awareness about healthcare inequity and increase community involvement. 

Co-Director, Events and Workshops

Josephine Duckworth is a student at Onalaska High School who is passionate about creating meaningful change. She enjoys volunteering to support people with disabilities and hopes to pursue a career where she can work with others and make a difference. She is especially interested in women’s health issues. SEHAT provides Josephine with an opportunity to raise awareness about healthcare equity and she is excited to positively impact her community. 

Secretary & Co-Treasurer

Grant Hughes is a rising sophomore at Onalaska High School. He drums for one of the Jazz Bands and Show Bands. He is also a part of the marching band at snare drum. He plans to pursue Physics and Music in college. He joined the SEHAT team with a goal to help people and make our world just a little bit better.

Eva McClung is a junior at Onalaska High School. She was inspired to join SEHAT because she had recently learned more about how difficult and expensive it can be to gain access to healthcare. In the future she hopes to go to law school so she can help people better understand and change systems of inequality.
