Our Mission

SEHAT mission is to contribute in reducing healthcare disparities and ensure equitable healthcare access for all, regardless of their circumstances.

SEHAT team plans to accomplish its mission using the following four point strategy:

  1. Building Bridges: SEHAT team engages with local healthcare and social service leaders to learn about ongoing health equity efforts, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration. These conversations not only guide SEHAT’s next steps but also help SEHAT’s youth leadership understand how community partnerships can drive meaningful change.

  2. Education and Awareness: SEHAT is implementing comprehensive education and awareness campaigns designed to empower uninsured and underinsured individuals with critical knowledge about affordable healthcare access, preventive care, and available resources. Through workshops and social media outreach, SEHAT aims to equip these individuals with the information necessary to advocate for their health and navigate the healthcare system effectively.

  3. Technological Solutions: SEHAT also aims to leverage technology to bridge healthcare gaps by developing user-friendly digital platforms. These technological solutions will provide uninsured and underinsured patients access to affordable healthcare and resources.

  4. Fundraising for Accessibility: To tackle financial barriers in healthcare access, SEHAT plans to launch innovative fundraising campaigns involving community members, local businesses, and partner organizations. The funds raised will directly support underserved populations by covering medical transportation expenses, facilitating preventive screenings, and ensuring access to necessary treatments.

By setting clear, measurable objectives and fostering collaborations with government agencies, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and by using technological innovations, SEHAT seeks to build a sustainable and impactful organization. SEHAT’s ultimate goal is to reduce healthcare disparities and ensure that equitable medical access becomes a reality for all individuals, regardless of their circumstances.
